Facts or Accidents

“If you close your eyes to facts, you will learn through accidents.”-An African Proverb 

Are you willing to accept facts even if they are disappointing? Sometimes the truth is difficult to accept so sometimes we willingly ignore it. This my friend, is not a wise practice! This proverb teaches us that we should always be aware, research and pay close attention to the facts so we don’t end up missing information which causes us to accidentally make the wrong decisions. Choosing not to be well informed will lead to bad decisions, and that makes us learn the hard way. Have a well informed day!

A dam blocks communication, it stops anything from going in or out. In a time of crisis, we need help. A bridge allows us to get help, whereas a dam would block help, and cause destruction if it breaks. A slip of the foot may soon be recovered, but that of the tongue perhaps never. - A Danish Proverb   Have you ever said something you wish you could take back? This proverb encourages us to watch what we say because we can never take back hurtful words once they are said. Our words are important and powerful. They can encourage or tear down. The Holy Bible also says in Proverbs 18:21 Life and death are in the power of the tongue! Let use our words to help instead of cause a problem that one may not recover from!
