Would you rather see the wonders of the world, or just read about it on social media posts? This proverb means it is more beneficial to experience life than to merely read about it. When we experience things, it gives us more knowledge about things than reading about it. We gain our own perspective on subjects when we've experienced it for ourselves. We can all agree physically climbing a mountain is a lot different than reading about it! Have a wonderful day experiencing life!

This proverb encourages us to connect with each other instead of excluding one another. A bridge allows people to communicate, create communities and move freely to reach help. A dam blocks communication, it stops anything from going in or out. In a time of crisis, we need help. A bridge allows us to get help, whereas a dam would block help, and cause destruction if it breaks. Let's continue to build bridges and make it easier to help one another instead of dams to block others out. Have a great bridge building day!

A slip of the foot may soon be recovered, but that of the tongue perhaps never. - A Danish Proverb   Have you ever said something you wish you could take back? This proverb encourages us to watch what we say because we can never take back hurtful words once they are said. Our words are important and powerful. They can encourage or tear down. The Holy Bible also says in Proverbs 18:21 Life and death are in the power of the tongue! Let use our words to help instead of cause a problem that one may not recover from!
